Inaugural Santa X Bull Sale

Coota Park's inaugural Blue-E × Santa Composite Bull Sale has concluded with strong support from commercial producers across northern Australia, validating our program's focus on feed efficiency, fertility and practical profitability.

Lot 15 - Coota Park Blue-E V194

Seventeen of the twenty-two bulls offered sold to buyers across New South Wales, Queensland and the Northern Territory, achieving an average price of $6,441 and a top price of $11,500.

The sale topper, Lot 15, was purchased by Duncan Ball for $11,500.

The sale represented the first offering of Coota Park's Blue-E × Santa Composite bulls, developed specifically for northern beef production systems. The program combines the feed efficiency and profitability focus of Blue-E genetics with the adaptability, doing ability and temperament associated with Santa Gertrudis cattle.

All bulls were independently structurally assessed by Dick Whale and fertility tested, including morphology assessment, prior to sale.
